Released during a wave of Cold War movies about nuclear attacks, Body Snatchers explores America’s underlying fear that a war could be won, but no one could tell who had won it. As a result, people would begin to turn on each other without even knowing it – slowly and then all at once.
Star Trek Generations
In Star Trek Generations, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) from Star Trek: The Next Generation travels back in time to pursue a rogue Borg. He teams up with Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) to help stop an evil villain who is bent on destroying all life as they know it by traveling back in time to prevent First Contact between Humans and Vulcans. The two captains must work together despite their different styles and personalities while they journey through time.

The plot revolves around Alex Rogan, an average teenager who loves to play video games at a local arcade called The Starcade. One day he beats an extremely difficult game called Asteroids and becomes recruited into a top-secret pilot program for a powerful new weapon: manned defense against incoming asteroids. He quickly finds himself facing off against enemy aliens that threaten Earth’s existence…in outer space!
